What is Istanbul Romance?
A concierge service that plans romantic evenings for two in Istanbul: proposals, anniversaries, honeymoons and birthdays. We combine a private hammam ritual, time on the Bosphorus, a photographer and small surprises into one evening, and one concierge looks after it on WhatsApp from the first message to the end of the night.
How does booking work?
Choose a package, a date and the time for your hammam ritual, and send the form. Your hammam time is reserved straight away. Your concierge then sends the written plan and quote for the rest of the evening on WhatsApp. Nothing else is booked until you accept it.
Do we pay anything on this website?
No. Nothing is paid on this website and we never ask for card details. The hammam ritual is paid at the hammam, by card or cash. For the yacht, photographer and decorations, your written quote states the price and how to pay before you accept.
Are the package prices final?
They are indicative prices for two, in euros, for a typical evening. The final price depends on the date, the season and the size of the yacht, and is confirmed in writing before anything is booked. You pay only for what you accept.
Can you keep it a surprise?
Yes. Tick the surprise box on the form and we only ever contact you, on the number you give us. We never message your partner, and the photographer stays out of sight until the moment.
What happens if the weather turns?
The yacht captain decides whether it is safe to sail. If not, your concierge offers another evening or an alternative on land, as set out in your written quote.
Where do you pick us up?
From hotels in central Istanbul. Add your hotel to the form, or tell your concierge later on WhatsApp. For other areas, ask and we quote first.
Can we change the date or cancel?
The hammam time is free to change or cancel, because nothing is paid in advance. For the other parts of the evening, the change and cancellation terms are written in your quote before you accept it.
Is the hammam private?
Yes. The hammam room is reserved for the two of you during your time, with towels, peştemal wraps and slippers provided. The exact address is sent with your confirmation.
We are more than two. Can you help?
Yes, but online reservations are for two guests. For family or friends joining part of the evening, message our concierge on WhatsApp and we plan it with you.
Is the hammam suitable for everyone?
Heat and massage are not suitable for everyone. Please tell us about pregnancy, heart conditions, high blood pressure or other health concerns before your visit, and we adjust the plan.
Who are you?
Istanbul Romance is a service of Empire Concierge LLC. Our booking office, Couple Hamam Istanbul, keeps the reservation records, so your confirmation e-mail comes from book@couplehamam.com.
